Two foreigners who met in London in 2016, got married in Brisbane in 2021. Erica is American, Nico is French and British. Here is our blog.
We decided to create this blog to share some of our adventures with our families and friends. We’ve lived in Australia for 4 years, and decided to take a break at the end of our working visa before moving to the US to be closer to family.
In 2021 we bought French Kiss. We worked and learned a lot about her, and we decided to sail for few months along the East coast of Australia, from Brisbane to Sydney.
Prior to getting our boat, we got a few RYA qualifications (day skipper, and coastal skipper). We started the curriculum in the Solent, and enjoyed chartering in Greece, Moreton Bay, and Whitsundays.
We sold her in March 2023, in order to continue our journey. The Australian chapter was closing and the US one would start soon. As of March 2023 I am still working on my green card application.
